Pembrokeshire Marine Code environmental training events

The Marine Code aims to protect Pembrokeshire’s amazing wildlife and teaches people how to enjoy nature responsibly. With an inspiring line-up of speakers, these events will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Pembrokeshire coast.

For 2021, we are starting the ball rolling with two separate training events, focusing on:

Pembrokeshire’s Industrial Heritage and changing coastline

Coastal Invertebrates

The events’ aim to give attendees the opportunity to:

🐬 Learn more about the array of animals and plants we share our coastline with

🐬 Explore best practice and codes of conduct to help minimise disturbance

🐬 Highlighting the Marine Code App, as a tool to identify and report wildlife sightings

Marine Protected Areas environmental training events

We want to be able to share the amazing beauty of Wales’ marine and coastal wildlife with everyone who visits our shores but we also know how fragile and sensitive they can be. By knowing our wildlife, we can help protect it and let it flourish.

Enter a wonderful world of marine wildlife with us at these special training events:

Protecting Welsh Seas || Amddiffyn Moroedd Cymru

Welsh Marine Wildlife || Bywyd Gwyllt Morol Cymru

Supported by the marine protected areas which encompass the Welsh coastline, these two unique events aim to:

🐬 develop your understanding of the marine environment

🐬 explain how you can help minimise disturbance and protect our coastal wildlife

🐬 discover more about the Marine Codes of Conduct in your area and how they help protect wildlife

An exciting line up of speakers are being organised. Watch this space for further details! Come join us to learn more about our coastline, what makes it special, to enjoy and share.
