Pembrokeshire Marine Code environmental training events

The Marine Code aims to protect Pembrokeshire’s amazing wildlife and teaches people how to enjoy nature responsibly. With an inspiring line-up of speakers, these events will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Pembrokeshire coast.


For 2022, we are getting the ball rolling with a great line up of training events this spring, focusing on:

Wading Birds

Monday 28th February: Webinar 7.30 – 9pm

Tuesday 1st March: Field trip 1.30 – 4.30pm

Seals

Monday 14th March: Full day event: 10am – 4pm

Rocky Shores

Friday 29th April: Full day event: 10am – 4pm

The Coastal Strip

Tuesday 14th June: Evening event: 6pm – 8.30pm


These events offer the opportunity to:

🐬 Learn more about the array of animals and plants we share our coastline with

🐬 Explore best practice and codes of conduct to help minimise disturbance

🐬 Highlight the Wales Coast Explorer App, as a tool to identify and report wildlife sightings
